Self care after your Dieta
After you complete a master plant diet with us your body, mind and spirit are incredibly sensitive. You have stripped back oil, acid, sugar, salt and spices for a number of days and reset your entire system energetically too. You have made a sacred contract with the plant spirits and this includes keeping to the following instructions for your own well-being.
No one starts a dieta here without agreeing to these conditions so please read carefully and ask about things you are unsure of before committing to this process.
If you are having trouble with or break the post dieta, please speak with us immediately. Breaking dieta can be very dangerous, resulting in serious illness and ongoing problems.
Because of the strict post-dieta unless you speak Spanish it can be difficult to safely travel in South America after your diet. If you do have travel plans please consider accommodation that is mindful and can assist with special diets or with staff who can speak English and help you. If you have to catch a plane or bus, plan ahead as you likely cannot eat the food they will serve.
Depending which plant you drink, the Maestro/Maestra may have additional post-dieta conditions for you which we will advise you of at the time however, they will not vary greatly from the information here. For example people undertaking 1 month or longer diets may be required to follow a longer post-dieta period. Important please note – No Sex includes oral sex and masturbation with yourself and others, keep it PG 13. Also if you are meeting a new partner in this time we highly advise avoiding all intimate contact including “making out” until you complete your post dieta.
The Post-dieta is 30 day countdown from the day you cut your master plant dieta with salt and fruit.
First 5 days Everything from the First 10 days list PLUS the following. No olive or coconut oil No cacao Nut milks and nut butters No dried fruits Avoid using non-natural cosmetics and personal care products.
First 10 days No frozen or icy foods/drinks No avocados No pineapple Dried Beans and Chickpeas – lentils and split peas are ok No processed sugars, sodas, candy, cookies etc No heavily fried or greasy foods (a very small amount 1-2 tsps of virgin olive oil or coconut oil is ok) No fermented foods such as vinegar, soy sauce, miso, kombucha, tempeh, chicha, sauerkraut etc. No red meat No coffee or caffeine No dairy products, milk, cheese yoghurt etc. This included goat’s milk products. No citrus – lemon, lime, oranges, mandarins. No raw nuts (nut milks and nut butters are ok after 5 days) coconut cream wait 10 days No processed condiments or sauces such as ketchup, mustard, mayo etc. No pork or pork products No alcohol No chilli or spicy hot foods No sex No pharmaceutical drugs unless it’s an absolute emergency (including hormonal contraception)

Take responsibility for your vibes.
Stay aware of your energetic environment and interactions. It’s important to stay centred and clear as possible while you integrate the dieta. Take time to check in with your energetic hygiene each day. Being in busy and crowded environments can be overwhelming as is being around people who are stressed, tense or dumping their “stuff” on you. Also starting a new love relationship or friendship may be better left till after your post-dieta. Take plenty of time to chill, process and ground yourself. Though part 1 is complete, your diet is still going, do not forget that as things come up! It nice to burn sage, incense or palo santo in your space.
Exercise and meditate frequently asking the plants to keep helping you!
Q: So what can you eat? A: Everything you ate on dieta plus more!
Brown or white Rice,
Pasta and Noodles,
All vegetables including bell peppers (just no hot spicy chili peppers),
Garlic and onions,
Fresh herbs like parsley and cilantro, mild pices like cumin, ginger and turmeric,
Pure coconut milk, pure coconut water with no added sugar or preservatives,
Legumes (view guidelines),
All fruit except those restricted,
Fruit smoothies without added sugar,
Steamed or grilled fish and chicken,
Free-range eggs boiled or poached,
Omelettes cooked in a non-stick pan or with very little oil,
Grains like buckwheat and Amaranth.
Small amounts of natural honey, stevia or agave syrup in moderation, when introducing sugar always avoid white processed sugar, go for natural brown sugar instead.
When introducing coffee, do no drink instant coffee.
Soy milk (check it is organic with no weird additives)
Caffeine free herbal teas,
Sunflower, pumpkin, chia or sesame seeds, dried fruits (wait 5 days), tahini.
Plain rice crackers or good quality “real bread (rye or brown bread is best),
Fruit juice with no added sugar or preservatives.
Spirulina or super greens powder is ok for smoothies too.
Protein powder supplements are ok, but check they are organic and vegan.
Think plant-based whole foods, fresh, organic and unprocessed as possible. It is better to cook for yourself where possible. Read the labels of anything in a package to check foradded chemicals and sugar.
Ideas for post-dieta eating
Pancakes made with a mashed banana, 1 egg, a little water or nut milk and flour. Cook small pancakes in a non-stick pan or with a tiny bit of coconut oil serve with fresh fruit and a little drizzle of honey.
Oatmeal cooked with cinnamon, grated apple and a little honey or stevia, served with fresh fruit and a splash of vegan milk.
Sweet potato and pumpkin soup. Dice an onion with some garlic add some fresh grated ginger, diced pumpkin and sweet potato, top with water, boil until all is soft then blend till creamy, salt to taste. Add a splash of almond or soy milk for extra creaminess.
If you are out and about prepare salad sandwiches or wraps and hard-boiled eggs in advance, carry fruit like apples or bananas to snack on in emergencies. Never forget u can always get a fruit smoothie (sin azucar) or a juice to keep you going.
After 14 days you can make healthy power balls from combing – rolled oats, sesame seeds, coconut oil, honey, chia seeds, cinnamon and dried fruit or raw cacao. Store in the fridge.
Lentil Bolognese. Cook diced onion and garlic in a pan with herbs like dried oregano and basil, add a few cups of cooked brown lentils, loads of chopped tomato and salt with a splash of water, cook down into a sauce to have with rice, potatoes or pasta.
Make a delicious salad with steamed quinoa, cumin roasted pumpkin, chopped fresh parsley, baby spinach leaves, diced bell peppers, salt, pepper and a little olive or coconut oil. Store in the fridge. Add a hard – boiled egg for extra protein.
If your energy or digestion is feeling sensitive or strange, we suggest stripping it back to simple diet food with a little salt. Plain steamed rice or quinoa, potatoes, green vege, pumpkin or carrot with a little salt. Eat like this for a few days and see how you go.
