En las experiencias aparentemente insignificantes de compartir a trav\u00e9s del arte he encontrado algunas de las mayores percepciones mientras viv\u00eda en Per\u00fa. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Cuando me adentr\u00e9 en mi primera dieta de medicina vegetal all\u00e1 por 2013, mi intenci\u00f3n era estar en silencio y aislada. En su lugar, me encontr\u00e9 como el \u00fanico gringo en una comunidad ind\u00edgena so\u00f1olienta que no estaba acostumbrada a tener visitantes extranjeros. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Al principio, los ni\u00f1os se manten\u00edan a distancia y me miraban t\u00edmidamente. Pero en cuanto saqu\u00e9 los rotuladores, el papel y los bol\u00edgrafos, el suelo de la maloka de mi cham\u00e1n se convirti\u00f3 en un lugar inesperado para improvisadas sesiones diarias de arte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\nEstos somos Reshin Nika y yo en 2013. Reshin Nika tiene m\u00e1s de 100 a\u00f1os y es bisabuelo de m\u00e1s de una docena de ni\u00f1os, muchos de los cuales participaron en nuestras sesiones diarias de arte. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\nLa nieta de Reshin Nika hizo este dibujomaloka donde \u00e9l y yo viv\u00edamos entonces, y donde hizo su ceremonias.<\/strong> Por la puerta abierta en medio de la maloka es una figura que pretend\u00eda ser yo, durmiendo en mi hamaca - tal y como hab\u00eda estado haciendo esa misma ma\u00f1ana cuando vinieron y me despertaron para que pudi\u00e9ramos hacer m\u00e1s arte. \n\n<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se trata de un dibujo de un cham\u00e1n en plena ceremonia, curando a una mujer mientras fuma mapacho (un tipo de tabaco selv\u00e1tico) en pipa. A sus pies hay una botella de ayahuasca, otra de agua floral (de m\u00faltiples usos en las ceremonias de curaci\u00f3n) y un cubo de v\u00f3mitos para la infame \"purga\" provocada por la ayahuasca.
